Amazing food and the guest service is so warm and welcoming. I'd highly recommend this place for a casual lunch with your work peeps. We also order from our office for the office and never have they messed up.
the café has always been one of my staple favorites, but there's some things that have been bothering me with my last three orders, we ordered sandwiches and they both say they come with lettuce instead we get mixed greens which totally changes the flavor of the sandwich. My son always gets a side of fruit, which the last two times was just watermelon. I don't think you should say a side of fruit if you're gonna give watermelon... there's practically no nutrition in watermelon. Another time I paid $1.50 for xtra chipotle sauce and they didn't give it to me and there wasn't enough on my sandwich which totally ruined the flavor. Like I said, I've always loved this place but the last three times we've not been satisfied with the prices being what they are.
This place is great! I live in Glendale but work in the area from time to time and come here any time I have a chance. I always go for the sandwiches, specifically the chicken bacon ranch (cold menu) or the Dylan (hot sandwich) with the bow tie pasta! If you're in the area I highly recommended their sandwiches!

I have ordered from this place many times but every time I order the same sandwich: the Dylan. The reason being I enjoy it very much so I crave the same sandwich. I also enjoy their unique chipotle sauce that goes with it. It's so good. The sandwich size is definitely fulfilling.
This place is so good. A bit pricey, however worth it. Good to support small local businesses. Highly recommend.

It's been quite awhile since I've visited or ordered from Z Cafe, and I'm so sorry for this! Now after ordering a quick lunch today, I am reminded of why I have loved it here so much for so many years!!! The food is amazing and fresh and the service is always spot on! My 1/2 sandwich and Mediterranean salad today was just perfection and more than enough to fuel me up this afternoon - all for a reasonable price too. I'll be sure to stop by soon with a friend or two to share my gratitude and show some support to this local family owned biz for their wonderful service and delicious meal I had today!
Z-Cafe is the perfect hole in the wall spot. If you blink, you might miss it in the shopping center but you will be SOOO happy to turn around and eat here. The burritos are the best breakfast burritos I've ever had. The staff is friendly and, although the dining room is small, it's always clean.
Enjoyed eating breakfast here this morning. They were the only ones around here open at 7am. Workers greeted us with a smile. Had the omelet with mushroom bacon and spinach. The egg was fluffy and soft. But wish had less bacon and more mushrooms and spinach. The bacon, mushrooms and spinach were all made earlier and kept warm. However it came with toast which was nice. I'd come back and eat here again.
